Breaking sad news in cats politics!
For a long time We, Zarathustra the Cat, didn’t share with you Our amazing discoveries in the field of Arrrt because We were busy in some matters to tell about after. But now We cannot rest silent any more: a very sad news ruined Our heart. The outstanding cat politician, Tuxedo Stan, the candidate for Halifax Mayor in Canada, passed away after long disease: his battle with cancer ended at 4:55 pm, September 8, 2013.
Steeped in Our chrystal cat’s tears, that cleared Our spiritual eyes, We found in what painting Stan the Cat was hidded until now: American genius Frederic Edwin Church, featuring the rainbow in his Rainy Season in the Tropics in 1866, forsaw the sad end of the great cat a century and half ago.
We are watching Stan waving his last hello over the Rainbow Bridge to all of us, and first of all to other political cats: to his brother Earl Grey who goes to take his mission after Stan and continue his fight for better world to live, and also to US Senate candidate Hank and Zarsthustra the Cats who go on to carry their duties in humain society.
Please have a look at the commonly known version of the painting at the de Young Museum’s site and you will understand the catcentration of every great art: in spite of the extraterrestrial beauty of the masterpiece, Stan the Cat is evidently missing in it:
You will also understand how fragile we, the cats, are and how we need all your love and care when we are alive: so fugitive our lives are.
We, Zarathustra the Cat, are late to make our tribute to Stan during his short life, and this thought makes Our grief even deeper…
Thus speaks Zarathustra the Cat.
